Cryserica Jeter is a Detroit native and an alumna of the University of Michigan College of Engineering where she persevered and earned her B.S.E in Biomedical Engineering. She is currently a Clinical Specialist I at Abbott within the Neuromodulation division of Chronic Pain Therapies.

Cryserica’s leadership philosophy includes leading with Empathy, Optimism, Joy, Perseverance, and most importantly Faith. She is a strong believer in the African proverb, “ If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” She pays close attention to the needs of others as well as their key attributes in order to determine the best way to dominate and conquer as a unit, believing in the power of a TEAM. She loves to mentor the youth and pour back into her community through volunteering with NSBE.

She aspires to contribute to medical advancements focusing on implementing breakthrough technology and improvements in medical care.
